WHAT IS AN ESSENCE?
A facial essence from the Korean beauty industry - not to be confused with a toner - essentially acts as a foundation for your moisturizer while providing many additional benefits for the skin.
Essences have similar benefits to a serum, and with a lower molecular weight than most day creams, they penetrate much deeper into the skin than an average moisturizer. The highly concentrated active ingredients in the essence ensure that the subsequent products in your regime are even better absorbed by your skin and their effect is enhanced.
HOW TO APPLY AN ESSENCE
The Essence is used after cleansing and before your serum or day cream. For best results, gently press the essence into the skin with both hands and pat it in.
