ALL EYES ON

Between quarantine and the wearing of breathing masks, our eyes become more and more focused. But how do we get our eye game back on track?

Almost nowhere can we see stress or too little sleep as much as around our eyes. No wonder, the skin here is 5 times thinner than in the rest of the face. In addition, this area is almost constantly in motion, we blink 30,000 times a day, for example.

Here are our top tips for a refreshed eye area:

TIP N°1

USE AN EYE CREAM

This light yet rich formula minimizes fine lines, puffiness and dark shadows, leaving your eye area instantly fresh and clear. It provides long-lasting hydration and Royal Fern Complex perfectly protects your eyes from everyday wear and its damaging effects.

Extra TIP

Use the eye cream 1-2 a week also as an overnight mask.

TIP N°2

APPLY YOUR CREAM RIGHT

Apply the eye cream from the inner corner of the eye to the temples on the upper and lower eyelids. Then massage the cream with a gentle, wavy massage under the eye and along the sides of the face down to the base of the neck. This helps, for example, to drain off excess fluid and minimize swelling.

TIP N°3

SLEEP IS KEY

Lack of sleep causes our eye area to accumulate more fluid, which can lead to dark circles under the eyes and swelling. The amount of optimal sleep can vary from person to person, but 8 hours is usually recommended.

TIP N°4

INNER SUPPORT

We can also support our eyes with the right nutrition from within. In addition to a balanced diet, you should above all include in your diet foods that are rich in iron, zinc and folic acids, such as cucumbers, watermelons, blueberries, tomatoes and celery.
