GLUCONOLACTONE
Gluconolactone is a poly-hydroxy acid, or PHA. It improves skin texture and tone, hydrates, offers some antioxidant benefits.
"In general, it’s good for all skin types, particularly those with sensitive or mature skin who can’t tolerate the irritation that can come from AHAs and BHAs." Dr. Timm Golueke
NIACINAMIDE
Niacinamide is a form of Vitamin B3. It is an essential water-soluble vitamin which means our bodies don't produce it on their own. Therefore it needs to be ingested via supplement or applied topically to the skin.
"It brightens the skin and gives a luminous glow, can be a treat against acne and is a great anti-aging weapon." Dr. Timm Golueke
VITAMIN C
Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant. It protects against free radical damage, evens skin tone, and promotes collagen production.
"Vitamin C is an essential nutrient required for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of the body, including the skin." Dr. Timm Golueke
HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic Acid is still on everyones radar as it is the number one ingredient for hydration. It moisturizes the skin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, replenishes cell moisture and can speed wound healing.
"Hyaluronic acid can draw moisture from air and keep your skin moist, holding almost 1000 times its own weight in water." Dr. Timm Golueke
